Tamer
I wake up and go down stairs,
I miss the place I call weather top already,
So little room in this place,
And it smells like a million things have given their lives to the battlefield recently,
They come down later and tell me what to do,
So different from the place I left,
Where it’s nice and people are kind to me,
The crow flies from her roost,
She’s at me in a second,
Placing her claws all over my hair,
And then picking away at her food in a disgusting way,
Then he speaks,
The snake with his forked tongue,
He tells me to get dressed,
So I do,
He tells me it’s not good enough,
“Are those pants supposed to be that high?” He saids,
“Yes,” I say,
He starts at his speech as we begin our meal,
But I’m not listening,
I’m trying to ignore them stuffing their faces with food,
Two lives,
One a life of daintiness on the kingdom of Weather top,
Another in the rarely visited house of Chaos,
Here they like to think their my tamers,
But they look upon me with blind eyes,
For it is all wrong,
I am not tame at all.
